In 2000, Colegrave Seeds of Banbury named a new Fuschia plant "Sophie's Silver Lining" and, since, royalties of 1p per plant have been paid to the Fund.

Last year, countywide sales of the fuschia raised nearly £1,000. Our most grateful thanks go to Ball Colegrave.

In 2006, the plant catalogue company Thompson and Morgan promoted the plant and gave us £5 for ever bulk order of six fuschias. We also, thanks to the gift of 400 tiny plug plants donated to us by Ball Colegrave and skilfully potted for us by Deborah Page at Barn Farm Plants, Wardington, sold even more plants in our local community.
